What’s a legal revision studio?
The SQE is tough, no doubt about it.
With huge amounts of content and often little time to learn it all, students struggle to get to grips not only with the material but also the trickier areas of the blackletter law.
It’s why nearly half of students fail the SQE1 exam and increasing numbers are failing the SQE2 exam as well.
Not only that, but doing the SQE can seem impossible; extremely high exam and course fees make it difficult for aspiring lawyers to fulfil their dreams of becoming a solicitor.
We are here to change all that.
Who are we for?
The great thing about the SQE is that people can self-study for it without taking a course.
We can help you on that journey. We have made sure to cover all the FLK modules in the SQE1 and SQE2 assessment specifications, as well as providing study tools which allow you to absorb that information effectively and efficiently. Our question banks also provide realistic, SQE1-style questions so you’re as exam-ready as you can be.
But we’re also here for you if you’re on a course. We know that sometimes course providers’ materials can be lengthy and hard to follow and the questions can be limited. Our resources are designed to be easily understood so that you actually learn the law alongside your course materials, and we have loads of multiple-choice questions that have been made by a team of solicitors who know what they’re talking about so you can practise that knowledge extensively.
So, whether you’re self-studying or with a course provider, use us as your study partner for the SQE.
The team
Our team is made up of English and Welsh qualified lawyers who have been there, done that and got the T-shirt. We know how tough English and Welsh law exams are and how they can often seem daunting. We also know how the SQE learning materials out there can often be boring, difficult to understand and expensive. So, we teamed up with a group of artists and designers to create varied, engaging and fun content to help you prep for the SQE1 and SQE2 (and, hopefully, enjoy it while doing so!), ranging from mindmaps, flashcards and High-yield Notes to challenging question banks.
But we also want to open doors to those who have that legal bug inside them. That’s why we have made our resources as affordable as possible, so that anyone can realise their dreams of becoming a qualified solicitor.
